Since the birth of M30 in 2023, our team has learned a lot! What started as a way for Jessica to earn extra money has blossomed into a full-service digital marketing agency. When Tamara came on as co-owner, she brought an extensive social media background and skill base to the agency. Together these two women have cultivated an agency built to help other businesses succeed.

They decided to focus exclusively on digital marketing for a reason. Traditional marketing really is dead. As mainstays of the past get wiped out by waves of the future, M30 is here to keep our clients from drowning.

A billboard can only influence the people who drive past it. A well executed website, social media post, or email/SMS campaign can travel around the globe in minutes. We are helping shape the future of digital marketing by dialing into what consumers want, and letting the data inform our next steps.

When it comes to marketing, nothing matters more than the results you drive. In the past, marketers have struggled to provide solid proof of their effectivness. But in the world of digital marketing, we’ve been able to solve this problem. Today, we can track exactly how many people open your message, how many of those people click a link, and how many of those people made a purchase from your website. And that is just the tip of the iceberg!

When we started working with the clothing brand Controlled Insanity, they had no automated emails set up. This one issue was costing their business thousands of dollars every month, so M30 stepped in to fix it. Our team developed, and launched a single automated flow that captured 4,000 new leads and generated $28,480.22 in revenue within 18 days!

As leaders in the future of digital marketing, we couldn’t stop there. We also developed email campaigns for their bodybuilding audience that saw open rates of 64%-89% and generated another $16,186 in sales.

A major part of M30’s decision to take on a client has to do with who the client is and what their brand stands for. That’s why, when edZOOcation® reached out for help, we were stoked! Their goal of teaching kids about wildlife conservation through play resonated with every member of M30.

As part of our strategy to help this business further their mission, we conducted a survey of their subscribers. The results revealed that their customers really wanted more interactive activities that they could do with their kids. So, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work, delivering just that.

So, what has the world of digital marketing taught our team over the last two years? Honestly, way more than we can fit into a single blog post. For example, it turns out there is a “season” for marketing. A window of time during the year where most businesses are looking for marketing help.

The trouble with that is it means they’re leaving money on the table the rest of the year. Our Admin Manager, Jasper, captured this best when he said, “I really had no idea how marketing worked and how much it touched our lives on the daily. Being here, surrounded by incredibly talented and knowledgeable people, I’ve seen how engrained things are and how important good marketing is for a business. Everything from the car you drive, to the books you read, and even the food you eat is subtly steered by the marketing those companies use. It’s really cool.”

Tamara captured this lesson the best when she said: “Coming into M30 as a Co-Owner has truly taught me so much. The biggest thing I’ve learned owning this agency is that you’re only as strong as your team. It’s so important to pour into your team and ensure they feel recognized and valued. As much as I say I know about marketing, I don’t know it all and we would not be here without the support of our team. I truly value each and every one of our team members and will always tell fellow business owners that pouring into your team is one of the best things you can do.”

Relationships Are Key

In business, especially the business of marketing, building and maintaining strong relationships is everything. According to Jessica, “I don’t know everything and it’s VITAL to rely on trusted professionals to help us through times where I don’t have all the answers. Whether that’s bringing on a business partner like T or hiring a trusted attorney who will help protect us with their life, it’s crucial to work with people you trust and that really know their stuff.”
